Hart House Farms finances

Do food more cheaply (plan better, make less)

Also, keep records of how much we spend

Buy stuff from Costco/no frills using Sima’s/ Dyzenhaus’ transportation

Come up with a food list by this weekend (Sara)

Book bus, don’t leave it to the last

All will pay 20, regardless of how long they stay

Nessa has tried to contact them, waiting for response

Could this lead to a bigger event if we can get the Human Rights funding

Elections

Some can’t make elections. WHAT TO DO?

Email them saying that they should send a write-up.

We will get food (ASSU MONEY) for the election

Go and talk to incoming PACS at their first class (September 14th, 12pm UC244)

ASSU
  • One president and the treasurer must attend all ASSU meetings to ensure funding
  • We get $1500 for both Academic and Social events (correct me if I’m wrong, maybe it’s $750 exclusively for each)
  • However, we may be able to get an extra $1500 from a human rights for academic events related to human rights
    • If we get this additional funding, we could divert some of the ASSU funding towards other academic events
